 I like to make stuff.

Learning to sew is my most recent passion.  I can't seem to get enough.

I am an art teacher by day, dedicated to bringing a comprehensive fine art education to my elementary students.

But I love creating crafty things in my spare time.  I sew obsessively at night and on weekends.

I'm married to an artist.  We are slowly renovating our first home (almost done!).  You should see us try to pick a wall color.

We just added a beautiful baby girl to our family.  We're in love.

*Update: We just added a baby boy to our family.  Doubly in love!!

This blog is a totally selfish outlet for me.  I love making things and documenting the journey.

I love art in all forms.  At its most basic level, art is just about creating.
